Terence B. Lester was born in Atlanta, GA on December 4th, 1982. He is the son of Tyrone Lester and Connie Walker and has one younger sister, Ashley Lester. He has a wonderful supporting wife, Cecilia L. Lester, who aids him with his speaking and writing. They have a beautiful daughter, Zion Joy Lester who is the apple of their eyes. He is an anointed “Moses” of the 21st century! His life is dedicated to mentoring young people as they are forced to make tough decisions in a difficult world. This 26 year old man has lived through peril, trial, disappointment and now jubilation! He emerges as a powerful and dynamic spokesperson ably equipped to address an entire generation. Unfortunately, the voices of parents often go unheard. Their repeated message becomes stagnant. Their pleas for conformity often fall on deaf ears. |
Lester has a Bachelor of Theology from Atlanta Bible College and is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree from Liberty University and a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Christian Life School of Theology (CLST). Lester serves as a willing Christian Mediator. He is for BOTH sides. He understands misguided youth and he empathizes with troubled parents. According to this high-energy crusader, “There IS an oasis in the middle of this wilderness experience!” With fresh memories of a turbulent childhood, he is determined to help young people avoid traps that become deadly as each day goes by. His goal is to bring young people and their parents to a meaningful point of understanding and agreement. Though it sounds like an impossible dream, it has become reality for Terence, his mother, his wife and those who prayed for him over many years. Now he is a much sought-after author, speaker, and facilitator of youth group sessions and conferences. He is also a recognized poet and a prolific writer.
A devout Christian and follower of Jesus Christ, Lester reminds the world that there is absolutely NOTHING too hard for God! Since God has planted a burning desire to lead young people out of a modern-day Egypt, he has no doubt that the same God will prove faithful and use him to continue to share a message of love, hope, reconciliation, healing and divine destiny to thousands.
Equipped with prayer and an unusual ability to relate to his audience, Lester stands boldly before young people not as another religious leader but as a child of God with a fresh application and covering of the blood of Jesus. It takes only moments for his audience to realize that this young man is FOR REAL!
Lester comes not to challenge prior Christian teaching or diminish parental influence. Rather, he comes to augment and make plain that which has been spoken. Until the message is understood, and until it has been received, it may as well not have been delivered at all! He has come to stand in partnership and agreement with those who love God and are unwilling to give up on young people.
Our youth DESERVE the chance to sit at the feet of an ex-juvenile delinquent, ex-drug user, and thief, ex-high school dropout, an ex-gang member and a defiant son. They deserve the chance to see what God has done in his life. They will have to see the changed man to believe it! They need to meet and touch a man who has definitely made a “U Turn.”
Prepare to receive letters of testimony and thanks after this young man has had the opportunity to minister to a confused generation wandering in an even more confused world!
